Since graduating from the ESO in 1980, Peter Armitage has lived and worked on both sides of the Atlantic. The years he spent in the USA have given him a broad perspective on osteopathy. He particularly appreciates the insights gained from working and studying with many of the older generation of American DOs, both famed and less known.
Since his return to the UK in 1992, he has taught at the European School of Osteopathy and the British School of Osteopathy and has been a faculty member of the Sutherland Cranial College of Osteopathy since its inception. He has been deeply involved in the teaching and development of paediatric osteopathy in the UK and Europe. He was a consultant at the Osteopathic Centre for Children in London from 1992 to 2008 and is a visiting lecturer and clinician at the OZK childrens’ clinic in Vienna and at the Fondazione Osteopatia Pediatrica in San Marino.
