Sarah discovered Osteopathy during her time as a professional dancer and decided to pursue it as a natural second career.
During her undergraduate training at the British School of Osteopathy she discovered the enormous potential found within the treatment of children and infants. Following graduation (BOst.) she entered the Masters programme at the Osteopathic Centre for Children, graduating in 2009 with an MSc in Paediatric Osteopathy.
Following a further year volunteering at the OCC, Sarah left to have a family but has continued her paediatric practice with fellow OCC alumni at The Maris Practice in Twickenham, a multi-disciplinary practice that specialises in paediatric care. She also continues to study osteopathy within the cranial field and follows the Biodynamics of Osteopathy program.
More recently Sarah has been a post-graduate clinic tutor at the BSO, and was delighted to have the opportunity to return to the OCC as an Osteopath in their Shoreditch clinic, and now as a Clinic Tutor in their Wandsworth clinic where she continues to learn from every patient.
“When I arrived at the OCC, fresh from undergraduate training, I finally understood what the scope of osteopathy could be. I was surrounded by a team of passionate, committed osteopaths with a wealth of experience, all working towards a common aim of ensuring excellence within paediatric osteopathy and osteopathy in general.”
