Roger Whalley

Roger graduated with distinction from the British School of Osteopathy in 2011 where he was awarded the academic prize for research. He started the Diploma in Paediatric Osteopathy the same year, graduating with commendation. Roger volunteered at the Shoreditch clinic before becoming an assistant tutor. He became a clinical tutor in 2016 and continues to work in the Shoreditch clinic alongside Nancy Nunn and Sarah Coutts. Roger works in private practice in Dulwich, London, where he also works for the NHS in a local GP practice.

Roger teaches Comparative Palpation at the British School of Osteopathy with Ernest Keeling, and Visceral Osteopathy with Valeria Ferreira and Dr Iona Bramati.  He is also a dissertation supervisor and examiner for the final year Masters’ research project presentations at the BSO. Roger recently completed his Postgraduate Certificate in Academic and Clinical Education.

Beyond Osteopathy, Roger is a qualified Divemaster, AASI snowboard instructor and Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician. He enjoys playing with his two young children and fixing up his old house.
