Formerly an astrophysicist and actor/dancer Julie-ann developed an interest in physical therapy and studied osteopathy at the British School of Osteopathy. After achieving her Masters Julieann went on to do further postgraduate training at the Sutherland Cranial College and Osteopathic Centre for Children.
Julie-ann currently runs various paediatric clinics including that in Clapham, New Malden, Berkhamsted and Princes Risborough. In the latter she works closely with midwives and lactation consultants to help nursing mothers and infants with latching difficulties. She also has a special interest in adults and children with special needs and is presently the resident osteopath at the Lambeth Walk day care centre for adults with special needs.
As a legacy to her pre-osteopathic, in-between/”resting” work as a sports masseur, Julie-ann is also a lecturer in sports therapy, massage, anatomy, biomechanics and joint assessment.
