It costs us £1million each year to run our services, including our free clinics in which we are now able to offer more than 30,000 treatments annually. We receive no funding from the Government (we are not part of the NHS) and so are entirely reliant upon the generosity of the public to meet our running costs. Every contribution to the Foundation will be put to excellent use. For example, our Outreach programme costs more than £40,000 annually and, even though we support local and regional hospitals, we must meet the costs of this service from our own limited funds raised throughout the year. It is of paramount importance that the community that has so generously supported our work continues to do so if we are to maintain our existing programmes at current levels, and ultimately, increase them. |
