The Foundation for Paediatric Osteopathy is determined to champion the osteopathic movement across the UK and the world be establishing best practice in the paediatric specialisation and participating in research initiatives to validate the benefits of osteopathy for children.
One of our most exciting projects at the moment is our participation in a three year research trial with the Peninsula Medical School and Cerebra, a charity which supports children with cerebral palsy and other neurological conditions. This project, which is due to finish at the end of 2008 was created to monitor and disseminate the benefits of paediatric osteopaty for young children with cerebral palsy.
